I cry for humanity

For what’s left of it

Let’s forget of color

Let’s forget of tribe

Let’s forget of financial status

Let’s forget of gender

Let’s forget of religion

LET’S FORGET ALL THESE!

That knots us into cliques

Let’s have unity in our differences

Let me take home a Somali chic

And let it not be a big deal

Let’s not cry no more

Let’s fight it

And let’s ensure that we kill it

Let’s fight for survival

Coz if we lose,

We will be far from lost

We will be extinct

LIGHTERS UP IF YOU FEEL ME

HELL YEAH! HELL YEAH!

LET FIRE BURN!

And with it, let it burn

Racism, nepotism, feminism, chauvinist, prejudice

And let’s use the ash to mould a pot

Then again burn it so it be strong

In it,

Let’s prepare a dish

Call it humanity

Only ingredient be WE

YOU and ME

Method is,

Love your brother not coz of similarity

Not coz of difference

But just coz they are your brother

Stir, add salt and pepper so it be sweet

Serve while hot

And let it not burn
