MY FOUNDATION

This is the first piece of writing in my first blog.

I come from a family of five, my two sisters, my parents and I. I was born and raised up in an estate called Shauri Moyo situated in the eastlands of Nairobi city the capital of Kenya. I sat my primary school exams in 2003. I'm now in the last year of high school.

My major aspirations in life is being a journalist. I would like to take my A-levels after high school and then followed by a degree in journalism. My main reason of being a journalist is to expose the sufferings faced by the poor. I believe that journalists have the power to solve a problem by bringing it to light. After all, the solution to a problem begins by identifying it.
Wisdom grows with age so they do say but not for me. I am young but my eyes have seen plenty than they should have; my heart has grown hard because of the tough experiences and my reasoning grown due to the exposure. Of the different characters. Of people not forgetting tricky situations too.
That's my aspiration in life, to attain power and instead of misusing it, I use it to guarantee a better tomorrow for all.
Many may call this a dream but I call it a vision; and I make it my mission to prove myself right. After all, success is brought by passion, struggle and faith. Faith in you and faith in God.
So have I got it all with me?? Yes. Damn yes, I have it.
BUT TIME WILL TELL..
