For this month of may 2011 there are a lot of events to watch out for for you poetry fanatics/maniacs starting from the:
14th may there shall be a poetry workshop by the teacher herself Sitawa Wafula at dass restaurant westlands from 15.00 -18.00hrs . It shall be a follow up of the previous workshop but for new comers worry not coz you will not be left hanging. The topic that shall be covered shall be on characterization so be prepared to be taken to the other level. Entrance fee is only 100 bob.
18th May we shall have Books & Blogs which is all about reading but not that found in book clubs, nope, this is the reading we do coz we want coz we love it. It shall be at dass restaurant westlands from 19.00 -21.30hr. the 1st day's reading shall be on why we read so do turn up for your minds to be turned on. lets get reading, lets get writing, lets get together for Books & Blogs. 21st May we shall have poetic+mic which is an all new event with the poets of the 21st century taking you through what your mind needs. It shall be at Strathmore university as from 14.00 -17.00hrs.this is gon be mind blowing & if you miss it you gon need to seek forgiveness from your soul. Entrance shall be 200bob.
21st May still, shall be the 3rd Circles of Poetry and as the name suggest there shall be the WORD! in the house. It shall be at Hotel Metro in Koinange Street as from 18.30 -22.00hrs. Do show up and the entrance is 300bob.
